Senior Cloud Engineer (HK$50K - $70K+) (Ref. No.: 27709)
Our client, a public listed company is looking for high-calibre person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Plan, design, and deploy IT systems for hybrid infrastructure (on-premise + public cloud)
- Implement and manage infrastructure for various project teams
- Ensure daily cloud infrastructure support and maintenance meets application SLAs
- Enhance and fine-tune cloud and data analytics platforms
- Collaborate on project execution, system support, maintenance, and vendor management
- Provide technical training and guidance to internal teams
Job Requirements
Technical Competencies Required:
- Multi-cloud solution architecture (DevOps, API Management)
- Microservice architecture (AKS, K8s, OpenShift)
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related discipline
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure administration and support
- Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese (written & spoken)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Chinese public clouds (Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud)
- FinOps knowledge, especially cloud cost management
- Programming background and openness to new technologies
- Experience supporting large-scale, complex IT infrastructure
- Self-initiative, passionate, can-do attitude
- Proficiency in Putonghua is a plus
